Artist Darina Bratkova

Darina Bratkova's journey as an artist is marked by a deep passion for art and a persistent pursuit of excellence. Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Darina's artistic talents were evident from a young age, catching the attention of her parents and leading them to enlist the help of the best private teachers in the city to nurture her skills. Her early affinity for realism became apparent during her school years, where she honed her craft by creating portraits that captivated both classmates and parents alike. Recognizing her talent, teachers applauded her achievements, and she consistently garnered prizes at the Kiev Sheol Olympiad in drawing.

Darina's formal education in the arts continued as she entered the Kiev Institute of Culture and Art, where she graduated with honors. During this period, she embarked on the journey of developing her own artistic technique, focusing on achieving a unique 3D effect in her paintings. Her dedication to realism led her to experiment with various techniques until she found the perfect blend that not only showcased brilliant painting but also emphasized texture and volume.

 By the time Darina completed her studies, her works had already found a place in private collections owned by Ukrainian art enthusiasts. She further solidified her presence in the art scene by participating in the collective exhibition "12 Best Artists of Ukraine." Darina's mastery of portraiture opened doors for her to study under the guidance of one of Ukraine's esteemed designers, Mikhail Voronin, who shared her appreciation for realism. Armed with years of honed skills, Darina ventured into the realm of commercial art by establishing her own design studio. Her technique, developed over time, enabled her to cater to the diverse needs of her clients, emphasizing both artistic brilliance and a keen sense of realism.
